I go up to Minnitaki evey year at the end of June for a walleye trip. I was wondering if anybody had any reccomendations for a drive to lake that is near there that has Muskys. Is Lac Seul a close drive wehre I could trailer the boat there one morning and fish it all day. Otherwise I see that there is a Vermillion Lake up there too but can't find much information on it.

If my memory is correct, Lac Seul is pretty close to Sioux Lookout. I know geographically they are close, but not too sure about which roads will get you there. Best of luck.

There's Big Vermilion lake which is a lower density but bigger fish lake and also Little Vermilion and some connecting lakes that has good numbers, both in the area

Big vermillion has got quite a few muskies!!! But it is a very scary lake!! Shallow spots aren't marked and it has some crazy ledges that come up to inches of water!!
