Location: Ames, Iowa | I have an SLR 15 roller Shorelander trailer for my 16 ft single console Sylvan. Specs on the repair manual show the trailer came with 5.3 x 12 tires and that's what I've had in the past. I feel those smaller tires are bare minimum and they appear to ride that way, always bouncing and bulging, and I never trailer the boat with more weight than I need to. Just a note that the SLR 15A comes with 155/80R 13 tires. I just found some new mounted Towmaster 175 80R 13 radial tires that I want to put on this trailer. Am I making a mistake in doing so? Are they too big? I have an email in to Midwest Industries in Ida Grove, but haven't heard from them yet. Thanks for any help! | |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | If the trailer fenders allow clearance, the trailer should handle them. | |
