I have an 8" eddie that wants to run in the 1-2 ft range. I would like it to get down a little more than that. Where would I put the weight and how much? Thanks.

I added a fudally weight system to mine. I drilled a hole right in the center of gravity of this bait. Balance it on your finger to see where it levels out. I drilled a hole at that spot and used different screw-in weights to get more depth from my eddie. I did it on a 6" eddie bait but it works on a larger one as well. This is a temporary solution. If you find a weight that works best, add a sinker of that weight in the exact spot and it will run deeper all the time.

I have never wieghted a large Eddie Bait before , but on the smaller ones I would drill a 5/16 dia. hole abour 3/4 inch deep behind the front hook where the hook swings on the belly of the bait. It would make a night and day differance! I would be able to make ALL of them swing! You might what to try this on the big one, who knows????
