| Hi Doug,
How is it going in your neck of the Woods. I was out in Kenora on Sunday the 27 and caught to muskies speed trolling at about 6 mph. One was a 38 and a 45 inch fish. The pike were hot as well with 20 caught from two boats. We saw several fish casting but no takers. I'm not sure what the water temp was but guessing about 43. What is it looking like for this weekend and at what temp does the fish stop bitting buy speed trolling or any other method.
Thanks in Advance

| Pretty much froze up at the Angle, might be able to get out of Young's Bay for another day or two, but I was breaking ice every day last week. It's suppose to be real cold for the next few days and that will end it for sure down here.
As far as I've seen you can catch fish trolling till it freezes over, and I've never slowed down one bit. The fish can swim a lot faster than you can troll even in the coldest water, other wise they would starve to death!
I suspect that the tullibee are pretty much done spawning down here, and the fish are starting to move away from the shallows. However, at no time do the fish leave the lake, so I'm sure there will still be fish available, just not quite as many.
Hopeing for a warming trend otherwise we are pretty much done.
