Subject: Shimano Waxwing?





Location: Hayward WI
Just saw this lure, looks like it's a saltwater lure that shimano is now marketing for muskie/pike. Anybne used one?

actually i do agree the hook is way back, but with the slenderness of the bait it will slide in the fishes mouth and put that hook where it needs to be.. looks like it can be worked fast too. will make a excellant search bait like the older mantas...bill

I just got one after seing my buddy throw one and you want the freshwater Daddy size and I got mine off of Amazon. They move real fast and stay very high up in the water column. It will be a good search bait and they would also be good for a beginner. Just throw it out and reel it back fast. Its like a Hellhound on speed!
