| My buddy and I have just beat this place to death with nothing but very small fish to show for our efforts. I keep hearing there are plenty of big muskies in there but I'm beginning to wonder. Can anyone give me some insight into this impoundment of the Flambeau River?

| Out there this past weekend with decent acion but no big ones(biggest was a 43"er I got Sat.).
Weedlines were turning off for us, and rocks and runoff areas were best. There are some big ones in there, but it does have a lot of smaller fish. Topwater was best for us this weekend. One thing I do notice is that the smaller fish inhabit areas where I've never seen a big one. There is a couple humps in the main lake that hold some decent ones. | |
