| Hi just wondering if the big nasty can throw the 8oz super D's ok?
I'm torn between the big nasty and big dawg, and 8oz is as big as I ever throw.
the 9' has its advantages so I'm hoping it will have enough strength to throw 8oz baits?

| it definitely can, I was messing around with it the other night testing out some baits and it tossed those types (thunderbeasts, heavier wood dive and rise jerks, mag dawgs, even a 10" phantom--that was more of a lob cast though) of baits easily. |

Location: Contrarian Island | yes, definitely..i have a big nasty 9 footer and love it ...i think it's a touch light for pounders tho you 'could' throw pounders with it and know guys that do..imo it shines in that 8 oz range..my 2 rubles. |

Location: Smith Creek | Unless pounders are part of your repertoire go with the nasty. I personally rate the nasty at 2-10 oz, the dawg 4-16 oz. |
