Subject: Cave Run Update

As water temps bounce up and down between 60 and 65 degrees muskie fishing has been fairly steady with some great results over the past 2 weeks. Water levels remain very low still at 5 feet below summer pool, yes below that's different right!!
With very little weed growth the muskies have been scattered all over the lake in fact I've only been out of Beaver Creek and the Licking 3 times this entire year. Big fish are showing on a regular bases but all fish have not spawned out yet. In the past week I personally landed a super fat pre spawners of 51 and 45.5 inches, Gregg Thomas had a client get a monster at 50 inches already spawned out. With cold air temps on the way foe this weekend and the first half of next week watch for the water temps to drop. The PMTT should be very exciting next week.
