Location: WI | Just wondering what makes a cady weagle different from the mojo and the suick ones? How do you tell the difference? What makes them better and why does everyone want one? Is the action that much different? Just trying to understand the difference and figuring out if I "really need one"

Location: Des Moines IA | You don't "need one". Cady weagles were mostly made out of maple (hw switched right before they were sold to mojo), Mojo weagles are poplar. I have both, and as far as I'm concerned, a weagle is a weagle is a weagle. Whether it be a Cady, Mojo or Suick, they catch fish. Period. |

Location: Marshfield, WI | All cady's have a white dot on the top of their head. He did this to tell them apart from his wabulls. The exception is he made some black weagles with an all white head. |

The "Cady Weagles" have no clear coat, it's 50/50 on whether or not they sink or float and do not catch any more or less fish than the Mojo or Suick Weagles. However, you will pay a lot more and need to have it repainted very soon. |

| The Musky Nut Weagles had the white dot on the head to be able to "track" the bait as it was retreived. The nose screw eye was vertical on the Wabull and horizontal on the Weagle...this is how one was able to tell the difference between the 2 baits. Like stated above, they were changed to poplar BEFORE Muskie Mojo bought the rights to produce the baits.This was done for the consistency of poplar. Of 1000 maple blanks, maybe only 200 could be used for Weagles due to weight variances. All Musky Nut Weagles were "clear coated" except for a couple special batches that were sold on another website(s). They all catch fish. The key to the bait is how it's worked....not who made it or what it's made of. Muskie fishermen sure are a strange lot. |

| It's like a lot of other lures - started by a guy making lures in his basement, sold to someone else a bit larger, and finally sold to a large company to be mass produced. The original Weagle and Wabull were made by Steve Cady, Muskynut Tackle. Company was sold to Muskie Mojo Tackle, and Suick after that. Originals were hard maple. As for what paint or any of that? If a lure is worth what you paid for it, the paint will get chewed through anyway. |

Location: syracuse indiana | cash and stink pickle and my numbered natural cady were the best ones i had, i was a weagle horder. i do still have bunch of regulars and newer ones and even a test wood baby. but needed some cash and made a ton out of some of them that i sold. but i still have 3 cady's that will never leave , no matter how much money is offered.. i have 2 original wabull's too |
