| On behalf of the Consolidated Musky Club, I'd like to thank the Musky Clubs Alliance of WI for the donation of 525 14"(average) muskies to be stocked into Petenwell flowage. As someone who helps raise muskies each year in a friends private ponds, I know the costs and work associated with raising between 200 and 450 fish per year. You have shown great discipline in deciding to plant fish into Petenwell. Us locals believe, and luckily you agree that at over 23,000 acres, this body of water is in dire need of assisted stocking. Petenwell is a very low density body of water(probably a C class), and if it weren't for the fact that I live here, and the fish tend to stack in certain areas for a few days per year, they'd be a tougher nut to crack.
Again, as a fisherman, and club member, I give my word to you that your deeds are warmly appreciated.
With the fish we raised, added to the Tournament fish(read Todd Forciers post) it puts us at over 1,000 fish!!!! Thats one per 23 acres WHOOOHOOOO!!!

Jason, that is a cool thing they did. My mom-in-law lives in Adams, and I've only fished the Pete for eyes and crappies. I may have to experience the ski fishing. Maybe next year, we can hook up! | |

Not making fun of the fact that you posted this, and basically the same thing was posted by TForcier. I would never make fun of such recognition. What you guys are doing over there is great!
I was making light of the 2 posts by you! They were identical, and one was right under the other. I posted my "Echo" comment in the top one, and the copied it to the other.[;)] You must have inadvertantly hit the submit twice. I noticed later, that one of them was pulled. Our moderators are forever watchful.[:)]
