Hi Crew,
Recent new member and I really enjoy reading the discussions.I would love to see some photos of some of your favourite lakes and images of these lakes and rivers that many of you love to spend your days on.
Beyond the fishing, there is that magic image and feeling of the places we love to fish, a place that is so special that draws us back every year.As they say... A picture says a thousand words
This is Near Parry Sound- Georgian Bay Ontario

Hi Tim...
Here is one of my favorite pictures. I think it says alot about the ordeals that we sometimes go trough, to get just that one bite. This was a december day pikefishing, where the surface slowley turned into slush-ice, and the guides kept freezing - So the only type of fishing possible, was a baitfish under a float, and then a cop of hot coffe...
Dident get any bites though

One of my favorite photos is sunrise on Pelican Lake last September on the first day of the KWM tourney. This was taken a couple minutes before it started. What a view..

Sweet !! Something about the darkness setting in when fishing for muskie..Almost like a nervous energy.
Could be the swarms of mosquitos that causes the nervousness too

Ice fishing is the best !! We fish on a lake called Rosseau in Muskoka with excellent trout fishing.Theres big muskie in the lake too.Every so often you get a hit through the ice where you get spooled in a matter of minutes.Never see those fish, but I would wager a dollar or 2 its a beast muskie going for a run. We dont use rods on the ice,old school by hand so not much resistance

Hi Tim,
Welcome to MuskieFirst, and great shot of Geogian Bay. I posted a similar topic about a year ago, and people really had some great pics to share. Here'a link to the thread (if it works).

This one isn't quite as scenic as the others here but this one sure brings me back to a very memorable day on Crow Lake. Thanks to the others that posted their pics. All of them are great.

This is a shot of our fishing camp.It was founded 60 years ago.17 members with a full constitution.Original members picked up the land from a government catalogue for around $5000. No neighbors, sand beach , piece of heaven. Imagine 17 guys hanging for 3-4 days with nothing but fishing, great food and a few refreshments. Pretty sweet
