Location: Maine Township, MN | I have a question about 2 Navionics map chips that I recently purchased. Both work in the units (Lowrance HDS-5 Gen1 & HDS-7 Gen2, but when I went to the Navionics webstore to update them with the "Freshest Data", only one of the cards worked and the other produced an error and said it is not compatible with the
"Freshest Data"
Navionics states to be compatible, you need a chart bought in 2011/2012.
The chip that doesn't work has a version # on it. The chip that worked
does not. Is there a chance I was sold an old chip? | |

Though it does not happen very often at this point, it is possible you received a chart that does not have the proper programming to be recognized by the Web Store. We would be glad to help you out with this situation.
