Location: MN | Just got a 958 for the bow of my boat and am wondering what you guys suggest for mounting hardware. I have used Ram Mounts (1 1/4") before for smaller graphs but they seem to fall/tip down when I run across the lake in any sort of wave action. What mounts are best to allow for the ability to adjust (rotate) and hold the graph in a fixed position when riding across the lake.

| There's a new Ram Mount for larger units, RAM-D-111-C. Not sure if you're still looking at another Ram Mount, but this one has a larger ball unit (Cabela's website says its 2-1/4"), so I presume it's more stable. They're kind of pricey compared to other mounts, though. $115 to $120ish. |

Location: MN | I am not opposed to Ram as long as it works better for a bigger graph. Open to all ideas. |

| The big ram mount should have no trouble with a 958. With an 1198 though in rough water it will not hold it perfect on a run across the lake like I've got. I've come to the conclusion ill have to build my own for my 1198 |

| I just got finished installing the cisco electronics mount for my HDS 8 and it's rock solid!
