I was wondering if any of you guys have made any tackle boxes out of milk crates? If you could post some pics or describe the materials used in the construction it would be much appreciated.

I have one also. Works great if it stays in my boat, gonna have to put some starps on it for transporting-gets too much when carrying other things at same time. I have metal downspouts in mine

Good stuff! That's basically what I was going to e-mail you about. If you wanted to go with a little larger container then pick up one of the lite weight plastic file boxes at Wal-mart and fill it with the thin wall plastic down spout material. You can even attach plastic money pouches with zippers to the sides for articles such as a file, scissor, Knipex cutters, etc.

Done the same here. 8' vinyl down spout cut to size. Two on each side of handle were cut shorter in order to grasp at handle. Not bad. Hang majority of my dbl 10's in it.
