Subject: Adding Tiller motor help

Just got a boat with console and 115 evinrude, I need to get a 9.9 kicker, can I get any make and as long as i get the right fuel injector piece? Someone help me with this please and let me know how i go about it. Thanks.

Hiya,

I would assume you are talking about the fuel line connector? If so, you can go with whatever motor you choose.

I do know there are many guys who have installed a fuel water separator which allows them to run two different lines off of their main tank, thus saving space since they do not need to have an auxiliary tank. Some boats have two fuel outlets already installed as well, so they are all set as well.

Either way, you should be able to use whatever motor brand you want.

If you are running off of your main tank just make sure your kicker is a 4 stroke.
