The past few years were really bad for me medically to say the least. I had a very successful spinal fusion (finally) in 2010 and last spring I had a couple feet of large intenstine removed for a ruptured diverticuli, needless to say these put a huge dent in my fishing. My Tuffy is feeling some serious neglect and there are some fish that have my name written all over them this year! I will be very active on the boards here again to lend my experience and I would love to get out on the water with a bunch of you guys again this year.

Great to hear you're doing much better!!!! My father is fused from S1-T10, and even that doesn't keep him off the water!! Remember, be safe and smart while fishing. Best of luck to you this year.

GREAT news Derek! Hope the rest of the family is doing well also! Although I don't live over that way anymore, we could meet up sometime...maybe on my "3 fish lake"?

Jim, might have to do that, except this time I will boat all the fish.

Hey Steve, definitely have to. You'll have to get me caught up on things around here.
