| What are the best lures for working really slowly especially in the spring time. Also it would be nice if they were weedless or shallow as well. Thanks

| Custom weighted crankbait to your liking. Toy around with small bell sinkers to get the desired effect (just hang them off of the front split ring or separate them between the front and rear or middle if there's a third hook). Gliders can easily be worked slowly. Suspending stick baits like X-Raps too. The ultimate in slow and weedless/shallow is a Creeper or Hawg Wobbler like MuskieNut said. Can't get any shallower than a surface lure! |

| The new smaller super appealers from holcombe are pretty nice, I plan on throwing those this spring a bit just to try it out. |

| Slammers are great. Softtail phantoms and mantas too. |

| For working slow, especially cold fronts I would pick a baby Squirko.
Second choice would be a MF shad worked slow shallow

| Paddle tail swimbait, lightly weighted... is another option. Reel slow, just enough to keep the tail kicking and body wobbling a little bit. |

| Try a jig like a J-Mac with a tail added. Could be a reaper, twister tail, or a shad body. Can't get slower than that. |
