I was planning to but A scubadiver in white I needed A deep diving lure until I saw the price A 7.5" $41 A 10" $60 I cant spend that much on A lure so do you have A recomendation for A right similar lure but 1/2 the price.I dont mind spending the low $20s for A lure but I cant spend much more than that

Tex,
I know you saw me throw them at the muskie school last weekend. They are a great bait. They are handmade and take alot of steps to make and have alot of hours into making them. Thats why they cost more.
The 7.5"s will be in Dorn's Midvale shortly, and Dorns will be having a 20 percent off every musky bait in the store April 13th-15th so you would save some money if you bought it then.
Good Luck,
Jeff Hanson

Muskytackleonline has the 5" for around $20 and 7.5" for $35 and spend over $75 and get free shipping. Can't loose dealing with Aaron. I'm going to assume that getting deep is your main goal as each deep diver has a complete different action to them. I've only seen the video of the scuba but plan on buying some for my box for sure. Seem to have more of a rolling wobble to them.

I own and use all of the Slammer deep diving baits and like each one. A 7" deep shad has a little tighter and subtle action compared to the 7" deep minnow. The deep shad shakes like crazy but the minnow has a wider head/tail action to it. There are some youtube videos to check them out but you wouldn't be disappointed.

Worth every Penny and More ! ! ! im taking it your looking at the 7.5 inch model they will out produce any bait of its size and there more durable than comparable lure which are usually made out of plastic , and they catch way more fish and """""""THEY WALK"""""i cant say enough about these baits. if i had only one style bait to chose from anymore in my Life i would fish SCUBA'S

There is really no substitute for hand made wooden baits. If people don't support guys like this soon the days of wood baits will be long gone. I ran Scubas last year and put some fish in the boat on limited use. I'd gladly pay $20 to $60 to put a musky in the boat. Pretty cheap If you consider the cost of everything else we pay for to fish.

There are baits in every price range for muskie fishermen today.
It's all in what you want. Baits like scuba's are hand crafted and tweaked for perfection. Other baits are plastic and come out of molds and can be produced more easily and cheaper. The 5" scuba is around $25 and have caught some huge fish. Maybe you could try one of those first and see if you like em. Big game has a reputation for big fish. I could recomend an Ernie 9" and very affordable... It's all in what you wanna pull

Well, I guess I'd suggest that at some point you save your dough up to buy a Scuba or two but the Slammer divers are a very good lure and priced reasonably. I've used both Slammers and Scubas and love em both.

Another good choice is a tuff shad. He makes an 8" model now. I also like wooden lures but sometimes like rattles in the plastic baits.
