hello all. here is a crappie glider that i built after being inspired by my good friend and expert builder Steve Pray. It is 10" long with tale, I built it out of solid resin and it gllides really good. I have never had a bait that worked so well the first time out, gliding over 4 feet to each side, I was really pleased with it. My thanks to Steve for his inspiration, and thanks to all in the basement. let me know your thoughts! thanks!
by the way 54956, your baits are almost done, and will ship very soon...the metal lips turned out good.....thanks !!

That's a sweet bait a four foot glide is insane. If you don't mind me asking do you paint directly on the foil and then touch it up after etex?

When it comes to foils it almost like double process. After foiling the blank you clearcoat until the bait is smooth, this way you don't see any seams. Then paint, belly, back, whatever pattern you want etc. Then clearcoat again. You don't want to paint directly on the foil, it won't look level or smooth.
