Subject: Boat Cover

I just bought a new boat (by new I mean new to me). The boat came with a crappy cover. Sometime this summer I want to get a better cover. I want to get one that is heavy duty and is good for trailering with the cover on. I have a feeling its going to be pricey, but I figure its about as good of an investment as you can make

Stand by, a new cover builder is on the horizon. Couple hundred for a 600 denier, special pattern, ratchet adjustable travel cover.

The covers will be available online by April 15th or so. Look for a banner ad and more here at MuskieFIRST. I shot the website images, and have personal experience with the covers, they are top shelf at a fraction of the cost of other travel covers.

Is that 600 denier the same material used for Ranger covers?

If so, that would be a good...great deal with with a ratchet system. I really like the fact that the ratchet systems do not have any drilled holes or exposed snaps.

depending on the style of boat you have, i saw on cabelas website that they have their 600 denier ratchet lock covers for v-hull boats on sale right now for $138.00 to $180.00 which is 40% off regular price. i bought one for my 16'6" starcraft fish & ski a few weeks back and it is great heavy duty trailerable cover...
