Just hooked up a new stereo- Should I use the starting battery or one of my 24 volt trolling motor battery to power it.

Location: Sun Prairie, WI		I'd use the starting battery. I prefer to let the trolling motor be the olny draw on the trolling batteries.

Location: MN		You don't want to use the trolling motor batteries, it may cause some electric interference. You are best going off the starting battery. If it were a HUGE system, I would recommend a separate battery, but 98% of the time the starting battery will work just fine.
