Oh man, I bet... I'm really jealous right now, I can feel my heart racing just thinking about it. Once the lakes unfreeze I'll be out hittin the early season crappies just to calm down the cabin fever. |

| It was kind of surreal. Saw trucks on the ice driving to where I was fishing.
Water was 32.8 degrees. |

Location: Right behind you (tap, tap) BOOO | Sure is nice to have the boat out again - I have had mine out a couple times over the last few weeks in the twin cities area. Ice fishing has nothing on fishing from a boat. |

Location: Right behind you (tap, tap) BOOO | Pool 2 is trophy managed Walleye, Sauger, Saug-eye, Bass (LG and SM) and Northern Pike waters, opened year round catch and release, sadly the Pool 2 muskies are exempt and follow typical MN seasons. Pool 2 is the ford dam down to the Hastings dam.
All launches are open, Hidden Falls, Lilydale, South St.Paul...
Problem is the Eye's total shutoff in the last 4-5 days, many many boats getting goose egged down there, still better then being in an office chair or on ice.

Yeah I figured the rivers were open, one of my buddies was talking about going out... i'm just not that much of a river guy... I love the serenity of the lake experience. For some reason rivers just don't do it for me. Unless it's cats I'm after. Which is at most 2 times a year.
