| There is a dam in a little town in northwest Iowa called the Linn grove dam. Many reports over the years have stated that Muskie and pike from okoboji and spirit lake have crowded around this dam. People have told me that upper forty inches have been caught on walleye gear. Anyone have any information? Sound amazing because finding the musky is half the battle. If they are all in one spot then it will be like shooting fish in a barrel! No I don't actually shoot fish, that's cruel. |

Location: Okoboji | yes unfortunately it is true....hillbillys are down there dragging them across the woods after they catch em to show everyone what they got....it is a shame...

| I wish there was something I could do. If you are from there then could you tell me what the water levels are like and what to expect. I release all musky I catch. It's purely for sport to me. |

Location: Okoboji | "from" not there currently...i just heard about it and know of friends that have seen it. might as well keep em they are as good as dead in that river. |

| Just curious, but what is the best way to go about catching a musky below that dam. Only ask because i have never fished for them. Think it might be a pretty big rush to hook into one. Thanks

| I was fishing there today and there were way too many snags. Lost 3 leaders. $60 worth of lures including a double cowgirl. Way too shallow. Didnt get a bite. I was using 100lb test and it still broke on those snags. So dissipointed. |
