We've done good on small shakers and hugheys early. Usually the northern lakes are better for us as well.

If the muskies arent going, are there lots of pike in there? would you catch them with the same methods used to target musky?

I've caught a couple small pike on the chain. On Xraps, in the shallow coves. Nothing big though.

Caught a 42', 38', & 36' over the span of 4 hours last June. That's the best day I had there. isn't it a little early in the year?
