Location: Sussex, NJ | Anyone ever used Hawg Teasers? They look good, but whats the action like? Do they glide or hop all over the place?
Thanks,

| They are a dive and rise bait, but with very little practice they will nose from side to side pretty easily. Not a glide, exactly, more of a change of direction dive. I like them alot. Probably the first jerkbait I reach for |

Location: Sussex, NJ | So its more like the action of a Suick? |

| Yep, only you can get more of a pronounced side to side than with a Suick if you give them a sharp pull. Plus, the rubber tail gives them a very enticing look on the rise. The 12" was always my favorite, but lately I've been throwing the 10" more. They both behave differently. The 16" is too big IMO. One thing I will say, though, is that they don't have a clear coat on them, and the paint gets hook rashed pretty quickly. I tried getting a few repainted and clearcoated for durability, but it screwed the action up. |

Location: Sussex, NJ | I'm hoping to give a 10" a shot. How deep will they run? |

| Hmmm, not very, 3 feet maybe a little more? The 10" will probably go down a little farther on a sharp tug, but it's a little harder to get the side to side out of it in my experience. Less of a sweet spot when it finishes it's dive. They are a little different. I'm sure the side to side makes no difference to a fish whose going to eat it, that's just what I shoot for when I work one. Some guys twitch them on the surface etc. |

Location: N.FIB | keep in mind that the more you use it the slower it will rise, new lures of these rise fast, they need to get water logged a bit before they have some hang time, good bait for the slop also since they rise up like a suick |
