| so i think im gonna spruce up my river boat this year give her a fresh new look. its a old 70's tuffy tiller and i would like to repaint it but i have no idea what kind of paint to use? any thoughts? also can i buy tuffy decals from anywhere because that would be great? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Painting will not work unless you are willing to strip the hull and go through a ton of prep, then paint with two part epoxy paint. PM me for instructions on getting a new decal set. |

| really? i cant just sand it and paint it at all? keep in mind this boat is no gem i dont need any flake or anything i was hoping a solid black or something? it is an ugly faded gold color right now but still fishes like a dream! |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | If you just sand the finish and use a two part paint, it will stick...pretty much. If you use any other paint it will peel off pretty quickly. |
