Location: Finland | i've been pretty busy with some customer stuff that i've asked to make ( more of those later) i though i'd share these 2 foiled natural colored sinking jerkbaits that i made for my own tackle box. Got to say though, i feel kinda bad for them, the local pikes will try to obliterate them for sure.

Location: Finland | heres couple more customer jobs i did on that last painting session. It sucks that my drying wheel is so small for these bigger baits and i have to take turns when clear coating these. anyhow i think i created the best looking perch so far from all the perch patterns i've done in the past, too bad these are not for my use.

Location: Hugo, MN | Mikko, those are fantastic. Do you make your own eyes? I really, really like the foil perch and the orange bellied trout from the first pic. Your foil work is top notch. |

yep i do make my own eyes, its a bit time consuming but much cheaper than buying taxidermy eyes. |

Location: Hugo, MN | I bought a bunch of unpainted glass taxidermy eyes last year. They are expensive, but I like the way they look. I won't build a bait without hand-painted eyes. Well worth the effort. |

| I only wish I could paint that good. What kind of airbrush do you use? Each one of those is a work of art! |

its just a matter of practicing all the time and experimenting will all kind of things that you might see others doing. i have a iwata high line witch for my kinda of solvent based paints seems to perform the best.
btw here are the last of the patch i painted on last friday. i think the rainbow trouts just might be the best looking baits i've ever done or at least at the very top of the best once i've done. there is still room to improve how ever :D
