Alright guys title says it all. Whats the best leader for these baits whether it be flouro or steel or whatever. I know the leader plays a huge part in getting the most out of the bait. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,
Brandon

For 7.5" and smaller use Stealths WTD steel leader. For 10" softtails you can contact John from Stealth and he makes a heavier gauge leader for large jerkbaits and it is awesome. Good luck.

A 130lb x 14" Stealth Fluorocarbon leader works fine straight out of the pack. I'm downsizing the snap this year from a #5 to a #4.5 to see what the does. You have to do some experimenting from time to time.

I only use floro now but there was a time that I felt a straight leader was best. Now I dont see the need however some other baits will work better on a straight but I can say that phantoms work on just about anything just M O

I personally like 'em better with a straight wire leader.
