Location: Crystal Lake, IL | If I recall correctly, the old Slammers used to have a rounded lip and the newer models have a squared lip. I don't know if it is just me, but it seems like the squared lips are harder to use as a twitch bait, trying to swing it side to side, rather than the rounded lips. Has anyone rounded out the newer slammers and found it easier to work? I'm debating sanding one down, but I don't want to ruin the lure if it's just in my head.
