Anybody have one of these around (BNT3705) or know someone who does? It's the anti-reverse pawl for a curado 300dsv. I called Shimano and it's on back-order until the end of May and I couldn't find any online

You know you really don't need them some people take them out for better
free spool. They only work when your AR bearing fails.
Maybe on Bass reels and you are using 10lb test and under but NEVER take it out of a Musky reel using 65lb braid and up with lock down drags. The A/R Pawl needs to be replaced every other year, they are under $ 5.00. They are tricky to install the right way but will save your $20.00 A/R Bearing from failing, just ask any LUNA owner about how long the A/R Bearing lasts in a Luna, the Luna has no backup A/R Pawl.
I have one left so I can't sell it, they are on back order till May !!!!!

My point is you don't have to have them I have many calcutta 400 that don't have them and they work fine. The anti-reverse pawl is a back up for the AR bearing and they do add a little resistance when reeling. If you ever hear that annoying ticking sound when reeling that's the anti-reverse pawl out of adjustment.
