Location: Savage, MN | Does anybody here have any experience or opinions of the new Saltist Black Gold? I am seeking another option rather than dropping the big money on a trinidad. Any information would be great. Thanks. |

Location: Central Minnesota | Although I have never used this reel, I have used other diawas and like them. Solid construction and durable. The specs for the Black Gold looks pretty good. Nice looking reel also. |

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160 | Very well build reels, the 20 size has 35" of line pickup and is only 16.5oz, the 35 size reel has 48" of line pickup but comes in at 21oz, both have spool brakes. |

| Any of these have level-winds? The pictures I saw a few places online didn't have any. |

Location: Savage, MN | Pikemaster- I sure appreciate the feedback. another feature about it I certainly like is the centrifugal brake. I hope it will provide a little forgivness when casting into the wind. (always try not to). |

| How much of a difference does it make without the leverwind? I would assume the black gold would only be good for blades since it has no leverwind? |

Location: 31 | I'd like a high speed reel that will engage with the handle instead of manually.
