Steve Hey Steve, actually you're probably not so much jealous, maybe envious though? Hey, and none of those fish look as large as claimed either… I'm afraid I will have to do a complete photo analysis. Wait a minute… no claims were made on size. LOL, nice job, and I’m very jealous too… I mean envious!
Saturday night cheers to all! |

| I'm not a member on this board but wanted to say thanks for sharing your pictures. Very nice for those of us in the frozen North to see. Let us know if you have further success and keep at. Obviously you've got something figured out there with your lure which always increases the fun factor. Thanks again! |

Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | To me it is interesting that you chose to use that color of Glide bait on a river at this time of year.
How did you come across this pattern?
I understand that the fish are looking for something Slower but Why this color pattern and It seems to me that your lure is somewhat big for this time of the year (according to the magazine writers)
Have you tried really bright colors in Slow moving and smaller, stick/crank baits prior to this six fish day ??
And does the fish in this river your fishing,... just like Larger lures?
Just wondering. And again congrats on a Great day on the water.
Oh,........ How many hrs. did you put in that day?
I think you Kicked Nelsons As$.!! on a per hr.basis !

I fish the same river as Anthony does, bright colors & gliders rule on the river we fish. I catch 75% of my fish on gliders. Gliders in the 6-9" range are the ticket. I believe that the muskies never went into a normal winter patterns this year due to all the warm weather we had so gliders are seeming to work all the time.
Big,small, medium lures it all depends on the situation. Cold fronts etc...
