| I have a chance to go on a combination Muskie Fishing trip and Bear Hunt at Evergreen Lodge on Lac Seul the last week in August. It is near Ear Falls. Anyone know anything about this place or what fishing is like on the west end of Lac Seul that time of the year? How does it compare to Lake of the Woods, which is my other option? |

Location: Lake Country, Wisconsin | There are little-to-no muskies on the west end of Lac Seul, if that resort is advertising Musky fishing up there they are being misleading. Almost all of the Musky fishing done on Lac Seul starts in the Hudson/Sioux Lookout area and goes up to the far NE part of the lake. You would either want to stay at a camp like Moosehorn Lodge or LAc Seul Outposts at the FAR other end of the lake or go to LOTW without question... |

| I was afraid of that. What about Cedar and Thaddeus Lakes? They are 40 minutes away I am told. Anyone know anything about them? I'll check the Muskies inc. Databose too. |

Location: Lake Country, Wisconsin | There's definitely some other options up that way for ski fishing...Cedar and Cliff Lake are both 54" size limit lakes, Thaddeus and Ord have Muskies but I don't think there are any public launches on them, you gotta know a place with boat caches or go to Thaddeus Lake Lodge...Perrault Lake also has Muskies in low density and the Long Legged Lake chain is 50 miles to the west of Ear Falls |

| Thaddeus and Ord have a public launch in the creek going between the two. Don't know what you have for a boat but to get to Ord you have to go through the culvert under the old railbed. Bigger fish in Thaddeus, but more in Ord and Moose lakes. Good fishing if you want more info PM me |
