Subject: Dahlberg Diver Frog


Hey guys. I noticed Rollie and Helens carry the River2Sea Dahlberg Diver frog. I was wondering if anyone used it and had success with it for muskies? Also, How big is it because im not sure if its aimed for bass or muskie? Thanks

Its about the same size as hollow-bodied frogs. I would say it's more geared for bass, but I'm sure you could hook and land a musky on one under the right conditions with the right equipment.

Location: New Hope MN		It's pretty big for MN bass... we screwed around with one and had a follow. It wasn't big and may have been a pike. who knows? I think it could be a decent lure in the early spring under the right conditions. I was thinking sub 5ft in the pads or bullrushes.

I havent used it for muskies but it is a pretty good bass lure. Both large and smallmouth bass

Location: South-Central VA		I love the look and the action of the Diver Frog, but the hookup ratio has been horrible. I also have a Spro frog and I hook 8 or 9 fish out of 10 with the Spro frog, probably 2 or 3 out of 10 with the Diver Frog. Bass or course, not muskies!

Anybody that used this for bass, are the legs pretty durable? Im worried on hit from a musky or pike would kill the legs. Thanks

If I remember correctly the frog comes with an extra set of legs. If you ever want to know the size of a bait (OP) the size and weight are listed in the catalog and with possible few exceptions on the website.

Yeah Im pretty sure it does but i would hate to have two hits(especially a bass or pike) And have a lure not able to use anymore. Thanks for all the replies everyone though
