Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished		When fishing a lake that carries large amounts of cisco's are people generally using natural colored baits in the regular cisco colors, or other natural colored baits? Or do hot colored baits work just as well? Also does location matter, for example, would a northern MN lake have a better chance at natural or hot colors. I personally fish lakes that have more of a hot color bite then a natural, not to say that I don't fish both. Looking for some info on what people are using in the super clear waters in early spring and early to late fall? mainly looking for info on the northern MN lakes, Vermillion, North star, Lake of the woods? ect...

Location: Bemidji, Lake Vermilion		IMO its a toss up. Depends on the day/weather conditions etc a lot more than cisco or non-cisco. In many non-cisco waters suckers play a huge role, same as they do in some cisco waters. Both are natural forage. I fish northern MN lakes primarily from east to west. Some days they want natural some days hot. Can't say I've seen it lean that far one way or the other.
