just looking to pick up a couple line counters for trolling and was wondering if this particular model is heavy duty enough to troll for Muskies. Any info appreciated.

I use convector line counters for chinook fishing on the Columbia and they work fantastic. We use up to 20 ounce weights in heavy current and the convectors crank it up like nothing. For the money they are very good reels and I highly recommend them.

I run 4 Okuma Convectors in 20 and 30 size. While I have an issue with the counters themselves on a couple of them, they are nice reels, with nice drags for the money, and the service dept. has been good. They are a great value.
