Time to refill the hook box. I was just curious to see what everyone is using when they replace hooks and why they like them. Thanks for your opinions!

I second Mustad triple grips. Also used some eagle claws that were on sale at gander mtn that have performed real well.

VMC 9626 3/0 4/0 5/0 3x strong and short shank
VMC 9650 4/0 5/0 2x strong longer shank than 9626
Mustad 3551 7/0 and 8/0's
Musky Innovations 7/0 and 8/0's

The 9626 5/0 weight about 1/4oz each and really changes how a bait runs. Especially gliders.

I use VMC 8650 Cone Cut on the bucktails I make & also use them for replacement hooks on other baits. They are very sharp out of the box & I have accidently stuck myself several times with them.
