| Hi,
I just recently bought a Thorne Bros. rod and think it is awesome. The last weekend I fished the but cap fell off and I want to put it back on but not sure what to use? Will super glue work okay or will it damage the cork? Is there a better glue that I should use? Maybe good old duct tape.lol Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

| Super glue should work or you could try Hot melt glue. |

| Call Thorne Brother's, and ask them what to use.

| Kly,
Use 5 minute epoxy. Start out by lightly sanding off some of the old epoxy making sure not to get down to the cork. Dry fit the cap on the cork handle. Wrap tape around your cork handle (use masking tape, it helps keep the epoxy where you want it) right up to the cap. Using the epoxy (follow directions) apply to the exposed cork end. Lightly press on your butt cap and hold for a couple minutes. Remove tape. Let it dry for a few minutes and your ready to fish.
Good Luck!
