Verdict out on this bait yet? Anyone use one for any length of time this summer?

I used one a fair amount this summer. No eaters but plenty of lookers. Makes a nice sound and has a nice wake. Buddy did have the tail fin come loose in a one and had one that wouldn't float.

Worked well on the few lakes we fish that have a topwater bite, only baits of this style I own...

I used one a bit last September. No takers, but a nice looking bait with a good plop to it. I'll be using it again this summer. I had to change the split rings on it.

Hi Kris It's not much of a topwater if it doesn't float! If your buddy would like those replaced I will take care of him. Thanks !

Ya know... It's responses like your's, Tom, that make me rethink buying one of your baits...

...Because now I"LL BUY TWO!!!!!

Good to hear the positive feedback. Can't wait to try the "heavyweight" of the topwater prop family...

Tom, the baits where taken care of at the bait store that he bought them. I believe it was Hayward Bait, but not sure. The new ones he got worked great the rest of the season.

I love Tom's baits. I screwed up at least 6 fish on them this fall. The Muskies approve, too bad I couldn't close the deal...

I have the bigger size psycho version, great sounding bait that runs true and is built well, just a matter of time now

I was badly outfished this last fall by a Twistd Sistr. So bad that I had to buy two of them this last weekend at the Milwaukee Show.

My brother used one on LOTW's last summer and it got beat up bad.I also bought two at the show last weekend and also won a WTD style at the swap meet on Sat. night. Cannot wait to use them this year here in northern Wi and LOTW.

i would like to attest for toms quality and customer service. he makes each one by hand and tests the baits out on a local pond to make sure they run good. they are hand tuned and run great...he would not ship out a sub-standard bait unless a couple got mixed into the batch before they got sent out. he stresses the importance of making a bulletproof bait and great sounding ones at that.

i have a bunch of his baits and so do friends of mine. none of mine have any issues whatsoever and i use them a lot...the only problem is me messing up my surface strikes cause i get too excited and mess the hookset up. I have a friend that has a custom painted twisted sist'r that he has caught 10+ muskies on it and tom gave him a couple new ones to use but he still keeps using the original one that he bought....the baits paint is still on even though having all the teeth marks and usage...most baits half the paint would be gone after this type of usage.

I didn't get the chance to meet Tom at the Milwaukee show because there were too many guys crowding around him and his baits! *grr!*

Nonetheless, I used this bait a few times last summer when I got out... no takers for me either, but did have one that struck it short. Definitely one of the more aggressive topwater blow-ups I've had. I'm looking forward to giving this one a go again in the summer... plus, you can cast it a country mile.
