| I've seen several ducklings get mowed over the years, but the craziest was on Wabigoon. A buddy just released about a 32-33" pike on a Raddog. I think he may have "brained" it as it was on the surface just kinda twitching. A couple minutes later, I turn my head to see an absolute MONTSER muskie come from straight underneath the pike and take it down. Still one of the biggest fish I've ever seen. I dream of that fish. How big??? I've handled several in the mid 50's and this one was much bigger with only a portion coming out of the water. Scary big fish in that clay colored water. |

Location: Victoria,MN | I think a muskie will try to eat most anything. Four years ago I witnessed something large try to eat a full grown loon. After a minute long battle the loon got away but only flew about 100 ft and then it started swimming in circles .
I also saw a large muskie attack an orange marker buoy . |

Thinking Vermilion, over the rocks on a gently, breezy evening. Or through the weeds...you know, that ONE weed! *G*
Cool, really.

| For that bucktail did you find the muskrat dead or did you trap it? I was thinking it would be cool to try making on of those rodent lures |
