| Hey guys, an e-bay screw up turned me onto a cedar supplier that just might be the ticket for you crankbait and thru-wire guys.
I ordered pieces of primo knotless cedar that was supposed to be 3/4" thick, but it turned out to be 5/8". I think that would be #*^@ near perfect for thru-wire cranks, or even skinny, flat lures.
The guys are awesome, and all of the cedar is beautiful tight grain, but the sizes are trimmings, I think,...7 wide +/- and 7-9 +/- long and 5/8 thick, but there's more. The wood comes from Canada, and these guys use it for building bee hives. That's why I figure that I got trimmings, but they sounded excited when I mentioned that there could be lots of interested parties here at m1st, especially crank, twitch and thru-wire guys. It's flat, knotless and could have lots of uses. When you call or e-mail, let them know that you heard about it here.
