Really interesting reading about every ones rod/reel setups...

How about boat/truck rigs?

Mine is a 1996 Ford F-150 4x4--Great shape and paid for..

Boat is a 2004 Tuffy Osprey 1760 with a 150HP Mercury Optimax--all paid for.

Pretty happy with this rig--hope it gives me a lot more trouble free years of fishing,

How about you?

HunterJoe, "Currently" is a good term....
I have a 2003 TrailBlazer which is teamed up with 1992 Tuffy Esox Magnum with a 115hp Yamaha.
Even though the warranty may be slightly expired, I love it!

In fact, I have had this Magnum and 115hp Yamaha over 85 MPH !!...............
Of course that was behind the truck, on the trailer, on the way to Canada!

Stop in and say Hi at the Slammer booth at the Milwaukee Muskie Expo this weekend. I should be there both Friday and Saturday. I will be leaving for an adventure of a lifetime on Sunday!

2003 Chevy Suburban 1500, and a 2003 Fishhawk 1750 SC both pewter/silver. I mention the colors because Fist thing my wife said when I got the boat home was "aren't you cute, your truck and boat match!" the color match never crossed my mind, but I am starting to see the light now, both my truck and boat resemble a coors light can, so I got that going for me.

For some it is a sense of accomplishment, either they saved enough capital to pay for something they wanted, or signed into a loan, and proved the substance of their character by paying off the note under the agreed upon terms. Not trying to argue, just one insignificant guys opinion.
