Wahoo! Cedar Lake NW Ontario July 21st -28th, ~ 30 miles north of Vermillion Bay. Anyone else going to be up there at that time?
I'm looking for hydrographic chart of Cedar Lake, any help would be greatly appreciated.

| Can't say. 2011 was cruel; and I didn't take my boat out of the garage once. I wish I could make up for it, but I know I won't. Life is seldom fair. But if I had my druthers... A four month sabatical on the most esox worthy water of Lake of the Woods. June 1 through September 30. Cast for pike until the ski season commences. Maybe do a side trip to Eagle Lake or Seul. Or maybe even a couple of days on the Winnipeg River. Sounds wild. Choice companions: a trusty new dog; and a magnificent Celtic, French or Italian bikini model. Very bright and agreeable. Get her into the cult of the rod, but not too far. But again...life is seldom fair. |

| I’ll be up at my trailer on the Chip for the walleye opener, a 4 day weekend for every weekend in June, up for a week around the 4th of July, a few long weekends at the end of August into September, then lastly one long weekend of sucker fishing in October to shut down the trailer. I’m anxious to see what the spring is going to be like this year, last year it messed me up, but it was great for the crappies |

Is it time to start thinking about the summer trip..?
Looking forward to 4 or 5 straight weeks at the cabin--Big V. during the peak season July/August---It keeps me going through the long, dark, cold winter.
The days up here in AK are starting to get longer already!
Good thread---lost of guys fishing LOTW for sure. |

| Taylor and I are heading up to Vermillion as soon as she gets out of school, but we might spend more time up on Pelican in Orr fishing for bluegills, and both bass species.
I intend to go back to Cass Lake in mid-Sept for a couple of weeks. Much depends on my health, but I miss fishing on Cass.

That sounds like my kinda deal.
I'll be hitting the smaller waters during the hot months, night fishing the st. Lawrence, then trolling the st. Lawrence when it gets cold. Nothing new. Wanna make a trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin but it just won't happen, we talk about it all the time though! Haha. |

Location: Milwaukee, WI | Trip 1 - A week on LOTW in July. Excited to be fishing a totally brand new area of the lake this year.
Trip 2 - A week at the Chippewa Flowage. Less fishing than the LOTW trip, as its officially our anniversary trip. Lucky for me that my wife enjoys being in the boat anytime - as long as it is not raining.
Trip 3 - 3 days in Oneida County in October.
Other than that, probably a dozen days on Pewaukee/Okauchee, and maybe a weekend here or there around Wisconsin.

| Our family also has a cabin on Sabaskong bay about 1 mile from the government dock. ( Big red boat house and dock sheds) Usually there from 3rd week in June through mid July. Also spend a week mid to late September. If you see a yellow lab running around on the Island you know we are there. If you are up during these dates stop by and introduce yourself. Always have cold refreshments on hand.

| This year will suck. The wife lost her job and she won't let me go to Canada at all. We have plenty of money in the bank where I could at least make my inexpensive trip but she says no. Maybe she gets another job or a settlement from the lawsuit we have against the scumbag that fired her. We shall see. After making 3 trips the last 2 years and 2 the 8 before that it's going to be tough. |
