The new Wisc Musky expo opens its doors this year in Wassau on March 2-3-4 at the beutiful Patriot center

On that sat the 3rd at 7pm The Promoters are inviting all vendors and public to attend a party/social/hangout at the regan ballroom in the patriot center,,There will be a full bar and possibly food for you to purchase

Entertainment will be provided by popular Greenbay guide and acomplished musician 'Dennis Radloff and his band'

the promoters would also like to have a 'swapmeet' people can particapate in for people to bring all your excess muskie tackle to sell.swap.buy, In addition the 'fishin hole' from Rhinelander will be there and has put out the word it is looking to buy used musky lures so people can make deals with them before/after the swap. The promoters wanted me to organize a swap but if someone in the area would like to take this on feel free to email me.

a $5 cover fee is asked to help cover the cost of ballroom which is considerable 'probbably higher then the number your thinking of" but if people feel this is a issue for the swap possible wristbands for swap only might be used.

there is a holliday inn express connected to patriot center for those looking for lodging

ALL are invited!!!!

google the wisc musky expo website for more info

Tackle Industries will have rods and select lures in the Ross's Sporting Goods booth. John will have a really nice 10x30 booth at the show. Sounds like Paul and Rich have done a real good job setting this event up. I also hope to send John a bunch of lures for kids so bring your kids and take them to the booth to get a free lure.

Can't wait! I'll be helping out at the Blue Ribbon Bait & Tackle booth. Not sure what our booth # is yet but I'll keep ya updated when I find out. We'll have great company, great baits and plenty of stories. I also plan on selling a few of the sucker rigs I've been working on over the last few years... and 10% of all the proceeds will benefit the kid's fishing clinics I'm putting on this summer... great rigs, even better cause... gotta keep the next generation fishin! See you there, hope you're as pumped as I am, will be a good time!

I'll have a booth there for Sterling Guide Service, and I'll be doing a seminar on Saturday at 2pm. My 'new' band Magnum 4 will be playing Saturday night at 8pm at the "lure swap" at the Patriot Center (same facility the musky show is at) here's a link to our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Magnum4Rocks/310158179019879 Some of you might recognize our drummer Dave Olson who is a fellow 'musky head'. The band covers a lot of great classics to good rockin' current material ranging from Blue Oyster Cult, Ted Nuggent, Collective Soul, Stone Temple Pilots, Hendrix, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Creed, Sammy Hagar, Areosmith, Seether, Motley Crue, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Tool, and many more!

My 'seminar' is going to be something very 'new' and 'creative'!!! It's going to be packed full of 'excellent' info!!!

Hope to see you all there!!!!

TC, There are a lot of venders that are going to be at the show, A few of them will be smaller companies that you would not normally see at a big show, for example Ross's Sport Shop, Black River Bait Co., Marv's Spinners, and Musky Madness. So it's going to be a nice mix of companies that you would normally see and companies that are not usually out there. More info on vendors that will be at the show will be passed on closer to the show. It will be a very well put together show with some great speakers that you usually won't see.

I should have said that all the money raised from sales of this rod will be donated to Cancer Research. You still have to buy the rod from Tooth Tamer but all the money raised from sales will be donated by Tooth Tamer Rods in one big donation.

Not really a free rod but you are getting a rod with money that will be donated to the cause. Sorry Bill from Tooth Tamer and everyone else for any confusion, I really didn't think people would try and take advantage of that post and the way I worded it.

I bought a couple of Pearson Plugs at Acquatic Arts in Tomahawk last fall. Probably the best glider I have ever used. They walk from side to side and belly roll at the same time and they both work perfect. I am definitely paying a visit to their booth and picking up a couple more. Do those drop bellies that are in the picture have the same action?

WISCONSIN MUSKY EXPO

The Wisconsin Musky Expo is set for March 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at the Patriot Center in Rothschild, and will feature tackle manufacturers, retailers, resorts, guides, seminars, boats, and taxidermy displays.

Speakers include Legendary Hall of Fame musky guide Tony Rizzo, Rich Reinert, Capt. Brett Jolly, Hall of Fame guide Russ (Smitty) Smith and Jake Smith, Wisconsin River legend Bill Melanson/Kurt Schutlz, noted Green Bay musky guide Capt. Dennis Radloff. Chippewa River musky guide, Mike Etzel, St. Louis River musky guide, Dustin Carlson. Dustin, last year, guided a client to a 49 lb. tiger musky and he will be displaying that fish at the show. Long time and well know musky guide, and the founder of Muskies First, Steve Worrall, will be speaking about the affects of sound and vibration from musky lures. He will present the actual sounds that musky lures make under water. Don’t miss any of these seminars. There also will be a lure swap at 7 p.m. and live music to follow at 8 p.m. Saturday night. Magnum 4 will rock the house. Admission to the band will be free with your Friday or Saturday show ticket stub, or a $5.00 cover charge at the door.

Come see the world’s largest musky rod and reel, courtesy of Nimmer Swimmer Lures. Register for a chance to win the Leinenkugel’s canoe. Bring your musky reel to the show and Abu Garcia will clean it for free and teach you how to do it yourself. Fishin’ Hole Bait and Tackle of Rhinelander, WI wants to buy the baits that you no longer use and turn them into cash. There will also be antique lure appraisals by Al Soczka of Tall Pines Motel and Gallery of Land O’Lakes, WI. Al will give you an honest idea of what those lures that dad and grandpa had are worth.

Cost is $8.00; a three-day pass is $14.00. Children 12 and under are free. Show hours are 2 p.m to 9 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The Wisconsin Musky Expo is sponsored by: Leinenkugel’s, Elk River Rods, Tuffy Boats, Dreamcatcher Bucktails and Tackle, and Suick/Cisco Kid Musky Lures.

This hard to get surface bait can be found at the Wisconsin Musky Expo this weekend. They are very popular baits in the Lake Tomahawk/Rhinelander area.
