| Can I change the highlight depth contours on a Gen 1 HDS unit? Say I want to see all the 18 foot breaks, will it highlight everything under 18 for me? I will probably have a map chip card in the unit if this matters. |

| Nope, that is only a feture that is exclusive to Hummingbirds and lakemaster chips |

| Not true Forgehunter. Yes, you can change the safety depth which will in turn highlight up to a certain depth on your chip. The options are limited though. I believe you can choose 3 ft, 6ft, and 18 ft. |

That is correct. This feature has been one of the major pluses on the Humminbird line. |
