| Who makes the most realistic reproduction/ replica BLANKs for a musky? Not looking for finished products. I want to try my artistic hand this off season with some airbrushing, etc.
Thanks |

Location: Land of the Musky | Try looking through www.mckenzietaxidermy.com I get some stuff there and they seem to have about anything for any animal and lots of fish stuff too. They sell some very cool fish eyes for lures too and scale patterns.

Location: Medford, WI | Jon, Yup - he's been doing it full time ever since I was growing up. It may take a little time...he's very busy but it's worth the wait. If you're interested, let me know. I don't have your cell anymore (believe you changed).

| painted my own also...got the blank from starfish in texas. most guys think it is fitante, so that's a good sign! easier than you would think...just stick wiht lotsa layering, LIGHT paint layers and a heavy gloss topcoat (at least 3 layers of krylon triple thick clear lacquer.) |

My dad said that if you want the best quality, go directly through Fittante. Said that he'd likely sell blanks...or try Lax. After that, he mentioned Mckenzie.

| LAX makes his own molds, he won't sell his blanks. |
