It might be, but Todd really comprehends pictures well. Are there quite a few pictures? |

| Thanks for bringing up this book.
I bought a copy of it. The story is set on Lost Land Lake outside of Hayward, and we happen to have a cabin on that lake. The book even mentions the local bait shop by name. My eleven year old son loved this book. It turns out that the book is part of a three part series of books set in that area. We have now ordered the other two. If you have a child in your life you might want to check these books out. |

The author vacations with her extended family at one of the resorts on the "real" Lost Land Lake. Locations in the book are highly fictionalized though based some reality (the lake is outside of Minong in the book, etc.). Our kids liked the first two books, I wasn't aware there was a third - will have to check it out.
Lastly, the author usually has a booth at the Musky Festival in Hayward - "Guest" may want to take the kids over there to have the books signed.

| Thanks. If we are up there during the Festival, I'll stop by and say Hi to her. |
