Has anyone tried the Lee Lures Mini Chopper, the downsized version of his "Water Chopper" tailbait (the one on BigFish365)? Anyone have any pictures of the Mini next to the standard version?

The Mini is to be 4.75" and the standard Chopper is 6", but I'd like to see them side-by-side for a better comparison.

Hi guys,

I apologize for the delay in updating my LeeLures.com and Lee Tauchen.com sites. The BigFish365 project has been taking up most of my time lately. As a side note as well, I'm not really sure how many baits I will be producing this year either? I am trying to keep up but I have to admit it has been a challenge.

Anyhow, here is a pic of the two side by side. I hope this helps. The Mini comes with 3/0 hooks and 4/0 on the regular Chopper.

Thanks for your interest on the baits.

Thanks for the pictures Lee. They look great. I'll be picking one up. They have the same or similar sound as the original, correct?

They have the same tail blade so very close to the same sound. Could be a little different due to less body to resonate from.

Thanks, Lee

Thanks for the help Lee. Sound like they'll be close enough. Looking forward to giving one a try.

I tried the mini last year, I was very happy with it. The hot wings catch fish as well.
