doctor spoons have worked best for me. Add a BB swivel and a hook to the front end to improve the action/hook-ups and reduce line twist. (AKA Paul Klien fpr suspendoes)

some of the better casting spoons have too much cup and do not behave well at 4-5mph. Just my $.02

I haven't trolled this yet, but look at the action of the Len Thompson 1 1/8 oz. spoon. It comes with split ring and swivel.

Daredevil's have worked the best for me but have not done it in a few years.
Have caught fish up to 45" trolling spoons never got a real big one. The guy that showed me how to troll spoons got a 49" on a copper daredevil. I think the one we used was the husky size not the biggest one.
