What seemed to be popular? Last year it seemed to be the whopper plopper.

I bought a few things at the show, but was really stoked about the "Meal Ticket". Watched the video on it after the show and my question to Jon is can you attach the snap to the front hook hanger and throw it that way, so that the bait runs more horizontally than vertically as is indicated in the video? Or does it kill the action?

MHK...nope the line tie needs to stay put. It doesn't work well if you move it, and it certainly won't have that shake to it. It is in a precise place....Thanks for the purchase and send big fish pics! Jon

I bought a small globe from Nimmer, did some trading with Johnny Dadson, and bought a small Shumway clip-n-go for spring northerns.  The Modivators were nearly cleared out by the time I was there on Sunday, so I’ll need to place a custom order with Ben.   The show was fun, met some new folks and did my yearly check-in with old friends.  I couldn’t make the swap and I’m sorry I missed it

Might be more constructive to call the MM folks to ask them about your issues versus just coming on here and throwing up your hands? Just a thought.

Those are Dadson Blade Baits - http://www.dadsonbladebaits.com/pages/baits.php The top one is called a “slider” and the bottom is a “lil darlin”.  They are really nice and he’ll tie up whatever you want.

The bait buy Jerry podmarsky is kinda along the lines of a hard head, he said that you can get it to glide some. I'm itching to get out and throw it! I'm pretty surd he said he was going to try and get some ready for Milwaukee so if you are interested shoot him a pm.

I got an Echo tail, some stealth leaders and a pack of Staylok snaps...also, got a bunch of jerky, but we ate it all during Dahlberg's comedy routine!

p.s. regretting not pulling the trigger on a black Nimmer Swimmer Woly Pog. Is he going to be at the Milwaukee show?

The fish was prespawn. We didn't have a scale, but we guessed her to go close to 8lbs.
I believe Todd said the 12" Phantom weighs 12 oz.

The show was great like always. I kept it pretty simple this year. Replaced a couple of double tens in proven colors, a big funky chicken, and a bucket head. The thing I am most excited about is the new TI rod. I was talked into the XXH by Kevin Cochran and when I got home sure was glad I did. Can't wait to throw it for real not in the yard... The only problem I had was that I was looking for a toro HS in Lefty and there were none left anywhere. None left on the web either as far as I can tell. Should have went to the swap meet but can only handle so much time in the burbs. Guess Ill have to shell out the extra for a 401TE
